Jonny 's been on the country music scene since the early '80's . he has played in a few famous country music bands. e.g. Pete Palmer Band,& Noel Dillon and the Foster Boys . Also towards the late '80's he played with a Band called Tudor Rose which was a spin off from the Foster Boys. . Jonny had family commitments after that and had to get a regular job for a while ! When Jonny heard of a young singer and drummer from Portsmouth in 1998 , that was looking for a bass player he applied, this was the first time he meet Henry Smith and the nutty Greg Padmore. ,He joined the band with Chas Smither the steel player, and was playing for 4 years with them,, going to Nebraska ,,and won the 1999 southern country magazine award with them. Had another break from the scene only to rejoin the band for another 3years.

AGAIN JONNY LEFT HENRY AND FORMED A DUO WITH JOHN ROWDY , KNOWN AS' DOUBLE JR'. THIS LASTED 4YEARS AND THEY STILL HAVE A FEW GIGS TOGETHER NOW AND THEN . JOHN JOINED THE IAN HIGHLAND BAND IN 2011 ,THEY HAD APPEARANCES ON THE 'SMITH& ROGERS' SHOW, ALSO TOURED SCOTLAND , WALES AND THE NORTH EAST. I HAVE DIFFERENT PROJECTS THAT I AM INVOLVED WITH, WITHIN THE  COUNTRY MUSIC SCENE AND ALSO BEHIND THE SCENES.I HAVE ALSO BACKED AMERICAN ARTISITS  SUCH AS HEATHER MILES AND BILLY YATES, TO NAME BUT A FEW

RAY KEDGE -Steel Guitar

Ray started playing in 1969, yes a few years ago. Through the years Ray has played with quite a few welknown bands including Country Fever, The Muskrats and Hickory Lake.  Also he has played on seven Wembley country music festivals backing top American artists. He also backed Andy Twang on Welsh television when was just a boy (he’ll never forgive me for that.)In the 70’s and 80’s Ray toured Germany on a very regular basis on the American Air Bases backing touring American Country stars such as Freddy Fender, Lacy J Dalton Nat Stuckey and many others. Over the last few years Ray has been playing in a duo with his son Steve (Stonecold Country) on the country club and linedance circuit. Having sat in with the Henry Smith Band on a few occasions the chance to join was a no brainer, Ray’s style of playing suits the band and as a vocalist as well he can add another dimension to the HSB.
